The idea came from Jim Tipton. A guy with a strange hobby... visiting graveyards to look for famous people´s graves.He saw there was no specific site about that and decided to register the pictures he took from the graves with a biography of the dead.
The site grew amazingly receiving lots of daily visits from people all around the world and the visitors helped sending pics and information about famous people´s graves from everywhere. With time he started to also put information about anonym people.
